The International Practice in Architecture

¨The Architect of the World¨ is a concept that I am persuing to expand all over as it refers to the capacity to endure diversity of practice without frontiers.
My experince in the USA for almost eight years brought my attention to improve knowledge in different architecture fields.
That is why I am writting a book regarding to Methods of Teaching Architecture Worldwide, to make stronger the skills of students in design and practice and then to apply for a licensing process into a right track and enthusiasm.
For example, American System, Metric System are the only two systems to apply when we design depending on geographic locations. That is why Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier where the two more exponents on each system, and in today´s society we need to unify one International system, The Metric System as USA and England are the only two countries who do not use it, then something is missing.
Another way to endure Diversity of the profession is by asking ourselves: How do we assimilate cultures, Climate, Construction Systems or even the way we promote our services abroad ?. Topics on LEED projects are not even known in many countries and it is a real problem as our environment is deteriorating each hour and there is no reverse unless we care about it.
AIA, RIBA, BSA,UIA, SCA, are some of the few organizations that are bringing new ideas to solve and prevent issues on quality of the practice and it is necessary that all of us contribute at the seminars or even bringing discussions on different online escenarios.
Sincerely yours,
